- A traditional, aromatic Indian comfort food, prepared as a hot, thick, highly nourishing soup made from split moong beans and basmati rice. Known for its soothing properties, khichadi is also part of the Ayurvedic way of life.
- Flavored with a warm blend of spices (Spice Packet included).
- No refined carbs. No salt, oil, sugar. No preservatives.
- May garnish with finely chopped onions and/or cilantro. Serve hot.
- Stir in favorite steamed vegetables for a colorfully tasty, light meal.
- For a complete khichadi experience (optional), sautee the Indian Tempering Mix (included) in hot ghee or coconut oil (ghee/oil not included) and stir into the cooked khichadi.
- For best results, soak overnight if cooking stove top, or cook in a pressure cooker.
