Description
- A hearty, rich dal soup made from Indian whole urad (also called black gram or black matpe bean) and kidney beans, combined with the nutty-flavored red basmati rice.
- Flavored with an exotic blend of spices (Spice Packet included).
- Delicious. Excellent source of protein. No refined carbs. No salt, oil, sugar.
- Serve hot with roti flatbread or alone.
- Saute the Indian Tempering Mix (included) in hot ghee or coconut oil (ghee/oil not included) and stir into the cooked soup.
- Soak beans overnight, and cook in a pressure cooker at high pressure level for 40 to 45 minutes.

OMG – SOOOO GOOOD!!! I made it on the stove top and holy moly. So incredibly delicious. I am huge a Food Network & Cooking Channel fan and wow. All that was needed was a tsp of oil & some salt. It feels like I’m doing something really healthy for myself. Simple, delicious & incredibly nutritious. Love it!!!
